Business as Mission Stewardship Award
The BAM Stewardship award is given to recognize organizations that are pioneering innovative ways to create kingdom impact in the marketplace. These are organizations who are not only stewarding profit to be used for good but looking at the multiple ways a business can sustainably leverage its opportunities to serve others. They are effectively engaged in doing good in and through the marketplace via job creation, workplace culture, company influence, customer service, or even the retail space in which they may operate. We are proud to recognize their ability to steward these opportunities they have been given and that they have creatively developed for the sake of the kingdom of God.
2019 Award Winner, Jordan St. John, of Sweet Jordan’s. The award was presented by Lipscomb Center for BAM Director, and in partnership with Thrivent.
Business as Mission Leadership Award
Lipscomb University’s College of Business holds the following as its mission:
"To build business leaders who embrace the values and virtues of Jesus."
To support this mission the college centers its efforts around five values and virtues:
Bold. Purposeful. Credible. Servant. Leadership.
As an institution, it is our goal for our students to see these values and virtues lived out in real business leaders, leaders who transform the kingdom of God through their vocation honoring the call of Colossians 3:23, “...work with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
The BAM323 Award is the highest honor given within the College of Business.

The award was presented by Lipscomb BAM Board Chairman and Executive in
Residence, Burton Nowers, and Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Ray Eldridge.
